Who We Serve
Kids Vision for Life program serves students who live within 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Level and have limited access to basic vision care. We select schools based on demonstrated need, using criteria such as high student poverty levels as indicated by their eligibility for free and reduced price meal subsidies.
Kids Vision for Life bridges the gap between the need and the solution, assisting an underserved population where it is most convenient, at schools and school related events, with no cost to those served; thereby providing direct services while reducing the most common barriers to vision correction.
The Kids Vision for Life program partners with schools to assess the needs of their students and target schools appropriately.
